As detailed in this NDHF article, most of the Iraq war news has nothing to do with news, but is deliberately forged non-sense aimed at  misleading the general public in order to buy more time for the occupiers of Iraq to accomplish the task of wiping the Iraqi people off the earth.

As pointed out there, the real news does exist, but is available only to the US Governmentals (and other operatives with "special relation") behind password requiring sites.

Due to the heroic rise and efforts of the Iraqi journalists, reporters and editors and those near to them in the more general anti-war media scene, the US and corporate media deception is no longer able to continue as such because of the existence of real Iraq news, not under their control, some of that available for our readers under the NDHF Link page.

Last autumn (2007), well aware of the situation, the NDHF Team made a decision to convert our blog into a public Open Source Center by sustaining an essentially Iraqi-based coverage showing the truth about the war: unlike the corporate media would like to  deceive the peoples of the world, what is going in Iraq is no somewhat fucked-up police operation against "Al-Qaida", but a major war (with the US taking full 25% casualties as dead and wounded) waged against the legitimate, nationalist Iraqi Resistance forces.

The reader can easily confirm this by following the link to the NDHF blog and there, rather than looking for news of the day, following the posting dates and the intensity of the postings in an ostensibly low-violence period - according to the corporate press.

In absense of meaningful, public Open Source Center in the English cyberspace, rather than abandoning the project the NDHF Team includes an OSC among our services in more mature and developed form:

§1. Currently, the NDHF editorial policy stresses quality to quantity, therefore, instead of publishing every single piece, the NDHF Team "harvests" the top headlines and provides these with hyperlink for the disposal of our readers.

§2. In addition, the hyperlinked headlines are arranged under NDHF OSC categories and - for the moment - placed and published under articles more or less belonging to the respective category, and finally all the OSCs are collected into this NDHF site info OSC (cf. the bottom of this introduction).

§3. What comes to the categories (and the respective OSC hyperlink files), most of these are scientifically derived (with induction and analysis) from the main NDHF news providers, the Iraqis themselves. Therefore, as far less informed the NDHF Team keeps improving the categories themselves as well as the OSC files, ultimately aiming at a flawless performance in our coverage.

§4. Just as the other NDHF services, the OSCs and categories are build slowly and carefully, but online, the latter necessitating some  solutions that may turn out temporary (such as the current practice of adding the OSCs as "related" news wires to the bottom of the absolute main content of the NDHF at the moment, the HEYET Net news coverage).

We apologize the possible inconvenience caused by the online build-up and the related changes within that, but hope that our sincere motive of seeking the truth (often involving a careful, phased approach rather than paradigmatic all-out claims) provides at least some kind of excuse for our practice.
