HEYET Net – In the press statement AMSI condemned the crimes perpetrated by the occupation and the current government forces targeting the raid of al Mustapha Mosque in Alexandria and storming al Rahmah Mosque in Mosul where AMSI hold the perpetrators fully accountable.

The statement came following the raid of Mustafa Mosque and Khulafai Rashidin School after evening prayer by the government forces on Thursday, 14 August 2008 arresting all mosque guards and confiscating their weapons.

US Occupation  forces on Friday, 15 August 2008 at dawn raided al Rahmah Mosque in al Nabi Younis area in Ninowa Governorate as usual blew the doors of the mosque and broke the contents, furniture and materials inside it.

These crimes show on something, it indicates the extent to which black hate present in the hearts of those against the sanctity of Muslims. It also shows their disappointment, losing making them mired in mindless actions.

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) also condemned the bombing which affected civilians in Alexandria.

AMSI confirmed that such act aims to disengage the fabric of Iraqi community to drag into sectarianism.
