HEYET Net Cairo Office – On Wednesday, 30 July 2008 the conference titled “the Challenges of Regional Security and Future Stability in the Middle East – the case of Iraq and the Arab Gulf” was held at the International Center for Future Studies in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt.

 At the conference working papers submitted by looking at conflicts, threats and prospects for its development and its implications on regional security in the region were discussed. Professors, researchers and politicians from Iraq,  Egypt and the Arab Gulf Countries were attended to the conference along with the representatives of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI), al Basaer Newspaper and other guests.
