HEYET Net - The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the government of Maliki said on Wednesday that they found large quantities of explosives at the headquarters of the ministry which were enough to blow up 3 floors.

In a press conference held in the general headquarters of the ministry, Abdul Dhiab al Ujaili explained that “"large quantities of TNT and C4 of the paste of TNT high explosive were found yesterday, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the ministry which were enough to blow 3-storey ministry."

The minister added that "the matter was referred to the Ministry of the Interior and is now under investigation to determine who are involved in within the Ministry of Higher Education."

Al Ujaili clarified that "many of the militias exist within the ministry," without specifying or pointing any organization to which it belongs.

It is noteworthy that many ministries in Iraq have been accuses of being centres of separatists militias, torture, abuses and mass killlings especially in Interior Ministry and Health Ministry which are still at the head of known partizan factions.
